Has the Heat Found Their Klay Thompson and Draymond Green?(Josh/Winslow)

With Josh is shooting the ball so well has the Heat found their Klay Thompson? If he continues to improve he will be an elite shooter. Also can Winslow become the Heats Draymond Green who can play multiple positions as well as defend them?

I asked this question because free agency is coming. What is your opinion about free agency. Do you think Miami should build around Josh, Winslow and Whiteside?

Asking because if we want to keep J Johnson, Wade, Bosh and Deng. Also throw in what ever Whiteside would ask for, I assume there is a good chance we give up Winslow and JRich.

OP this isn't really thread worthy as you can see based on the number of replies.

On the general board there a lot more users so it's ok to create a bunch of topic specific threads but on the Heat board we have our set of stickied threads that pretty much encompass everything Miami Heat.

You'd probably get more replies if you simply posted this in the Heat regular season thread or in either of the two threads created for our rooks.

blasphemy! winslow is our goku which shall ascend as a super saying 2 once he gets practicing in his hyperbaric chamber in the playoffs.

sillly joke aside,i dont think it would be fair to grade this kid on his first season because he is just a rook that while he has improve greatly on D he still needs to work a ton on his O.i'd see him like a better version or a combo of dwade and deng fused all together

I agree with alot of what you guys were saying...spot on

I guess my question was if they project to be those kind of player where they are star players who win paired with a MVP type super star can create a great team. So do we exercise patients and rebuild around them or continue to utilize free agents like in the past?

I am kind of torn with the direction the Heat should take. I like Wade but man I sometime want to move on then I feel guilty about it.

The free agent route means that we may have to let them go and I wonder if that would be wize. Maybe I am drinking a lot of Kool-aid...lol but the Homer in me has a gut feeling they will be special players.

I love the optimism but in order for Winslow to get close to Green he has to increase his consistency and scoring. He may get there soon but it has yet to been realized.

It's just too early to project two rookies to rise to the level of two of the better players in the league. Besides, we don't need to choose between rebuilding around them and bringing in veteran free agents. If they play well, they will get minutes no matter who else we bring in. A bigger threat to either or both players is if Pat finds a trade for a top veteran he finds attractive.

In other words ... IMO you should worry more about DeMarcus Cousins than about Kevin Durant.
