If you are on the Heat coaching staff, what keeps you awake at night when thinking about the Raptors.

So, as a Raptor fan, I am wondering what you may think the Heat coaching staff is nervous about when they make a game plan against the Raptors.

Don't worry -if an NBA coach is reading this forum for ideas they will soon be fired.

If you were the Raptors and you wanted to exploit Heat weaknesses, what would you do?

Here is what, in broad generalities, I consider to be the Raptors shortcomings:
So, let's just say (1) you're a coach for the Miami Heat, (2) you're not an idiot (3) you break down game film and (4) you get paid to think about (basketball) things.

Imagine you are a Raptor coach and you know that the Heat know something and you need to figure out what they are likely going to know and use against you.
2015-16 Playoffs Four Factors
Some stats:
Team GP W L W% MIN eFG% FTA Rate TO Ratio OREB% Opp eFG% Opp FTA Rate Opp To Ratio Opp OREB%

Miami Heat
7 4 3 0.571 336 51.7 0.253 13.0 24.1 43.2 0.309 10.1 15.9

Toronto Raptors
7 4 3 0.571 336 43.7 0.322 14.9 32.8 49.5 0.319 15.9 23.5

If I were the Heat, I would seek:
1, GLARING PROBLEM - get the Raptors to 'help' by abandoning players in the corner- Double Team comes pass1 is out of double team pas 2 is to the corner- result is wide open 3
2, Let KL shoot wide open 3's - cannot make them. Get into position to take charge on him; (KL has badly injured elbow)
3, IF DD has the ball, triple team him because he is not passing
4, Hack a Shaq on BB
5, Watch the Pacers series (Really??? Awesome insight!!! ) and try to figure out what the Raptors were doing when the Pacers were blowing the socks off of them for quarter after quarter - figure out what the Pacers were doing- ball movement to find open 3, make 3.
6, Turn game into a 3-shooting contest as Raptors not making them
7, Jump on Raptors early! Strong starts, put Raptors in hole, results in hero ball and missed 3's
8 Look at the statics - 2015-16 Playoffs Four Factors PANIC as it appears as if they favour the Raps.
9 Exploit horrible transition defense of Raptors- turn over= run as fast as you can, inducing someone in the corner for the 3.
10Something entirely different

1.Them packing the paint successfully
2.Lowry climbing from his grave
3.Definitely the Joseph/Lowry line-up
4.Rebounding/Maintaining Raps bigs when Deng and Whiteside is on the bench
5.Joshua McRoberts

Basically the Bench. They're a lot deeper IMO.

I like the fact that there's 3 days between every game this series, helps us being the older shorter team.

Also, Goodboy getting bullied in school for wearing Heat gear.

Lowry has an injured elbow- so you will survive that but do worry when the Raps go small and all guard all the time plus a centre- when you have Joseph, Lowry, DD , and Powell out together- they are freakishly fast and accurate. (Truly some "Oh! That's how you pass the ball to the open man who drills it or gets the easy lay-up" moments)

The Raptors will pack the paint and probably get more rebounds, Miami needs to make 3'S.

Our rooks will snuff your super fast, incredibly accurate bums.

I hope we don't have to rely on 3 pt shooting. We should attack the basket and go to the line.

We win when we attack.

bad news for Heat, good news for Raptors. The Raptors are all about help defence and double-teaming. The Raptors forget about the 3 point line and forget about the open man in the corner. The Pacers feasted on the Raptors help defence - The Raptors double-team on a Pacer resulted in the Pacers making 2 passes to the corner for a wide open 3. Assuredly the Heat coaching staff has seen that and figured it out - but having figured it out is not good enough, need to make the 3's, and I understand the Heat have a problem with that.

Getting inside on the Raptors will be a challenge. They dare yo to shoot the three.

How they went extinct and the unbelievably difficult task of dribbling a round ball with their puny forearms.
These things keep me awake at night cuz I am insomniac and I drink myself to sleep.

One worry- Val offensive rebounds when Whiteside helps. Unlike the Hornets, Val will take mighty advantage if Whiteside isn't disciplined. He is a very good player and excellent offensive rebounder.

Same as the previous series;

Will Goran step up and take on Lowery?
Can we hit our outside shot, once they pack paint?
Can we keep them off the line?
What type of officiating will we receive?
