Cs looking hard at Jaylen Brown, who appears to be a Winslow type. We all know Ainge loved Winslow so why go for the clone when you can get the original?

That being said, Brown is a little taller, and probably more athletic. Can he shoot it? Hard to say. He shot poorly during his freshman year but shot it well in HS and supposedly has been shooting great in workouts.

The idea for the Heat is that you could draft Bender or Chriss as insurance for Bosh.

Brown is an athlete with good length, but he has to put it together as he looked raw from a skill set perspective to me this year. I worry that he has gotten by on being physically superior to his peers and hasn't developed his game that much. He seems to be a good kid though, so maybe he'll put the work in and figure it out.

I like Chriss and don't know much about Bender, but having said that I'd rather keep Winslow.

Fair enough. I understand as I would not want to part with him either. Just thought the #3 pick might give you pause. Thanks for taking the time to respond and good luck with Bosh's health and the 2016-2017 season.

It's a hindsight thing, but I think Justise's value (defensive versatility for the most part) is a very important part to our teams short-term outlook (for one)

Justise was ready day 1 and will be a sophomore next year with a lot of value we could use. 3rd pick could turn into a stud also but Idk...

I think the Cs will draft Brown (reports are he's headed for a 2nd workout on Monday). I'll be curious to track Winslow and Brown to see who has the better career.

Couldn't see Riley doing something like this. But I do think Kris Dunn and Jamal Murray have higher ceilings than Justise.

i dont think riley would do it either.if he improves his shooting percentage we might be looking for someone that is pretty special.i believe that this summer and next are going to be key on his development has a player

If durant is coming in the heat, then trading winslow is possible, either the #3 or someone else that will help miami. Or if heat needs another big, may a 3way with Philly for okafor or noel. Philly like Dunn

What I am saying is, trading winslow will depend on the heat situation. Knowing Riley, is not afraid to trade someone like him. He did trade caron butler for shaq then. Cant see why he will not do it again, especially winslow outside shot is aweful. It will really depend.

Pat Riley doesn't really like draft picks so I don't see him ever trading away one young prospect just for the chance to draft another. Unless he felt that he could get a ready product in exchange for said pick by some third team.

100% agree here. Riley will trade him if it makes us better, but this won't come up until after FA starts, so it won't be a #3 for Justise type of deal.

Justise has as much upside as anyone in the draft not named Simmons or Ingram. He's already an amazing defender at 19, it's really up to his shooting to improve for him to become a very good starter.

I don't think we would trade Winslow unless it's for 1-2 or a proven all star type player. Management and coaches love him and he loves being here.

No, Winslow may or may not be a star but he has proven to be an NBA player which = success for the draft. He still may flourish offensively and we know defensibly and durability are already there. If he were in this draft he probably doesn't go top 10 but I still wouldn't trade him for #3 pick. Besides its not what Boston needs, they need a capable shooter ala Paul Pierce Ray Allen and Hield fits that to a T. They might get distracted by Bender or Jamal Murray (Which they already have in James Young, who never plays). Hield is the guy for them which is nothing like Winslow. Hield at the 2 with IT on the floor makes too much sense.
