Pg Dragic
Sg TJ
Sf Winslow
Pf Williams
C Whiteside
Ive heard Ellington is expected to start, i think Tj is better now.
I doubt Bosh will be back.
If they play up tempo Williams might play well at the 4.

I think Richardson and Johnson share the starting job. I don't even want to guess about PF. I suspect we may start a half dozen players at PF this season.

btw I suspect we ship Whiteside out for DeMarcus Cousins before the trade deadline.

Dragic - TJ - Weber
Ellington - JRich - McGruder
Winslow - Williams - Babbit
Bosh - McBob - Johnson
Whiteside - Reed - Haslem
Ellington better **** ball like a madman if he wants to keep that starting spot over TJ or JRich.

I would roll out Dragic/Richardson/Winslow/McScrub/Whiteside

PG - Dragic
SG - Richardson
SF - Winslow
PF - Williams (assuming Bosh is out)
C - Whiteside
We paid Ellington and Johnson a lot of money which could be an indication that one of them will be starting at the 2 but Richardson is the best defender of the group and I'm thinking his offense will improve heading into his 2nd year.
At PF, Derrick Williams quietly had a good year for the Knicks last year, (PER over 17) improving in nearly all categories. He fits well next Whiteside and Dragic with his athleticism and ability to get out on the break and he has the feel of a player who will maximize his potential playing for the Heat and buying into our defensive schemes and rebounding responsibilities.
That's a young starting five, exciting to see them grow throught the year.
Dragic and Whiteside have to stay healthy.

Assuming no Bosh, regardless of who starts this will be our best lineup. I call it CrackBall.
Dragic
TJ
Rich
Winslow
Hassan
I call it CrackBall

We'd have to give up a whole lot more to get him away from the Kings.

Dragic
Richardson
Winslow
Williams
Whiteside
Although I agree, Dragic-TJ-Rich-Winslow-Whiteside will definitely see a lot of run.

Lmao but forreal we need to get Rich to embrace the idea of playing the 3 because he's at least the closest thing we have to a scoring wing, Johnson/Winslow are not it
Going to have to rely on our guards heavily

its pretty much been confirmed Winslow will be the starting 3. What's wrong with playing playing Richardson at the 2?

Assuming Bosh is out, no way does Spo begin the season with Udonis behind Johnson or Williams before they prove it on the court with this team.
Starting off it'll be
C: Hassan
Pf: UD
SF: JustWin
Sg: TJ
Pg: Goran
By December it'll be
C: Hassan
Pf: JustWin
Sf: JRich
Sg: TJ
Pg: Goran

I'll go with the surprise here:
Dragic / TJ / Winslow / James Johnson / Whiteside

Nothing but him at the 3 would help us depth wise
Starting or not, doesn't matter

If Bosh forces his way onto he court, this is the best case scenario. I can't stress enough how dumb it would be to have $50-60 million tied to one position going forward. Talk about crippling the franchise's flexibility and ability to win in the future.

Do people have Winslow playing out of position so all our young players can get minutes, or do some people really think he's a PF? I think he's a 3. I hope we start him there.
Since it doesn't look like either TJ or J Rich has PG instincts, they will probably fight for the starting 2 spot. I would be okay if Ellington never got any minutes at all. I still don't understand that signing.
