Darn. I know there isn't much info yet, but is this type of injury typically serious enough to keep a guy out at least 2 months (and thus JR would miss some regular season games in that case)?

It sucks, but he needs to get his knee right before coming back - don't rush this young one, you are part of our future!
This just opens opportunities for Spo to test out Ellington, Waiters, etc in extended minutes, before having to work all the wings into the rotation.
Edit: this may allow Spo to help build up some trade value in these wings & make them tradable in Dec!

Partial MCL tear doesn't mean he's gonna miss a lot of time. Likely will be back around late November.
Sucks that he'll miss the training camp though, it'd be huge.
