Chris Bosh Appreciation Thread

Chris Bosh posted the following message on his blog as his career with the Miami Heat is likely over.

"It’s funny how things change," wrote Bosh. "All I have right now associated with basketball are my friends and memories. And I’m so thankful for those things.

"I remember just a few years ago when the Big 3 were together and we were having a ball playing the game we love with some of the most professional, talented guys the NBA has ever seen.

"I remember the fans of Miami coming out to see the show every night. The love, the compassion and the energy we felt was second to none. I want to thank the city of Miami from the bottom of my heart because things may change but the good times will last forever in my memories. Thank you!

"Things are different now and Miami has incredible young talent with a tremendous upside. These are not only talented ball players but great people and friends. I enjoyed playing with those guys and doing my best to mentor them by being an upstanding role model and veteran player. It’s their time to go through the ups and downs of the game with this great city."

Looks like he is really out the door. Will never forget his key rebound and assist to Walter for the 3. Thank you Chris Bosh.

My favorite player

I'll always appreciate how much he changed his game to help Miami win the two championships. Thanks for being a cool dude, Boshy Bear.

And thanks for the GOAT rebound that led to the GOAT play in NBA history.

I love you, Chris Bosh. Without you, the Heat wouldn't have their 2 rings. Blessings, happiness, and health for you and your family.

This will never get old. Gonna miss Boshy poo. I hope there is a way that this can work out where he gets everything he wants and we also still get our cap space. I'm not mad at him at all and I wish him the absolute best.

For all those that criticized the way Lebron left, this pretty sad. Not even a call to tell the man straight up what he's going to say or do.

"I didn't see my career in Miami ending like this," Bosh said in the latest installment of his Rebuilt video series on the Uninterrupted digital network. "I didn't get a call or a text or anything like that. I mean, it's a business. We understand that. We always say those things. But if you say certain things to the person and you win championships and you have these moments, you don't want to find things out through the media.

Two years ago when Bosh signed his deal, if you told me I'd be posting in a Chris Bosh appreciation thread in 2016, I would've had a hard time believing it. I'll miss CB on the Heat. He was great for us in his time here, and had some awesome moments, on the court as well as off. I do see where the Heat organization is coming from in all of this tho. They're paying a fortune for a player who can't set foot on the court. Sad for CB tho. He's a great guy who doesn't deserve to go out like this.
