The Heat waived forward Stefan Jankovic and signed center Vashil Fernandez, the NCAA's leading shot blocker last season. Both are likely to end up with D-League affiliate Sioux

The dude has 2 master's degrees ... and not in basket weaving and P.E. either ... so he didn't waste his time at Valparaiso.

he could be a nice back up center for hassan if he produces similar shot blocking and rebounding numbers in the NBA.
now i would love hassan to pass most when he is getting clogged in the paint by multiple players or another big center

Yup, international finance and international commerce. One thing not do doubt would be his work ethic.

I'll forever be a fan of seeing defensive players on our team so I like the signing.
