This is the second meeting of our 4 this season. We lost our previous game in Miami on 10/28 by a score of 97-91. We play the Bugs again on Mar 8, 2017 in Miami and return to Charlotte on April 5, our 78th game.
The Miami Heat have played Charlotte in their various configurations 97 times in the regular season. We have a 57-40 record. We were 4-5 versus the first Hornets, 29-10 versus the Bobcats, and then 24-25 versus the *new* Hornets.
In playoff games we have an 8-6 record, having won 2 of the 3 series we have played. The Hornets eliminated the Heat in 2001. We are 23-25 in the regular seaon in Charlotte and 34-15 in Miami.
