Give him 3/39 with a player option after year 2.

Never thought I'd advocate Mion appreciation, but his presence really helped the Heat this year. He was in my dumb player doghouse for much of his career, and deservedly so. He also didn't benefit in my mind from being the 4th pick in the draft. Felt he should have been drafted late lotto. However, looking back at that draft, it doesn't really stand out with clear talent:

Cavs missed on Lillard, for sure, but can't really make a convincing argument for many others that early at that time.

I hope I'm not the only one who's not 100% sold on Mion lol

agree with those who want to sign him for a reasonable contract.. whatever the case maybe

Not completely sold either. He played fewer games than Wade did this year...

I'm ok with a reasonable contract but if I had to choose one it would be JJ.

Not sold either but he's an asset at this point. Don't think we'll have a bidding war but I'd still be scared to stiff a guy with an irrational confidence like Waiters

He will be our closer, so hopefully he keeps playing at that absurd level he was on his past 20 games.
