The Miami Heat have just finished their 13-game winning streak. Here it is coming to an end:
We are ready for the return of Goran Dragic:
We will play the Orlando Magic:
This is the Heat's shootaround:
The Magic are always rebuilding. They have so many great young players. They are always the same:
Miami has a 62-47 lead in the series:
Miami is 34-20 at home.
Miami is 28-27 in Orlando.
Miami leads 3-2 in the postseason (one series). Orlando is not very interested in playing in the postseason.

First, though, this is how it was for me:
Goran Dragic:
One of the best runs by a Heat PG ever.
Dion Waiters:
Dion's return to the lineup after the West Coast games largely sparked our winning streak. Fans changed their avatars to call attention to his play. Losing Dion was the first death knell to our run, but our momentum kept it going for a while more. I'm looking forward to his return to good form, especially after the All-Star Break when he is fully recovered (I hope!)
James Johnson:
This run represents James Johnson's best span of play in the NBA. He has been good most of the year though.
Hassan Whiteside:
We were so good during the run that we even won without Hassan. He was gassed in this last game though.
Willie Reed:
When Hassan fell, Willie Reed stood up. We didn't miss a step.
Tyler Johnson:
Another player injured during the run, but we kept up quality wins. TJ almost managed to pull us through in Philadelphia with a great effort, but it was too much even for him.
Wayne Ellington:
When we needed Wayne, especially when TJ went down mid-run, he showed up.
Along the way, we also got excellent play from two unheralded rookies. The first was Rod McGruder who developed a reputation for hard-nosed plays:
The second was Okaro White who won his roster position from Derrick Williams.
The last player was Luke Babbitt - who until the Timberwolves game - also played some good basketball:
Derrick Williams and Udonis Haslem also got minutes. I kept waiting for UD to get a chance last night in the closing minutes, because Hassan looked so tired, but Spo didn't call for him.
An interesting run, to be sure: I think a lot of our players raised their perceived value.
