LA ain't gonna trade for a player who may sign with them straight up

They also lack the assets IMO. Russle ain't enough

Boston is forcing themselves into drafting a 3 and creating a logjam

Guys.....

Hayward and PG might happen, I'm not saying it's likely, but the cards are there, and we know Pat, he's gonna make a play for them.

Adding Hayward, PG and retaining Waiters or JJ immediately makes us the team to beat in the East, and makes us a real matchup issue for Golden State who doesn't have a big to bang with Whiteside, and certainly won't have our depth.

And they'd still have room for Gordon Hayward.

PG- Dragic
SG- PG
SF- Hayward
PF- #14
C Whiteside

I'd definitely risk it even being a 1 year rental

That's not happening. If we somehow, miraculously, land George, the rights to whomever we draft is going out the door. It's imagine Winslow, Tyler, McRoberts (for cap reasons) and the rights to our pick would be the offer, but I imagine it would be easily trumped.

TJ, Winslow, and Mcbob for PG is a damn good deal. Not sure who beats that deal and if it's worth it for any team to give up comparable assets without assurance he's going to resign.

Miami signs Griffin
Miami signs Wade
Opt in Wayne E

Hassan
Blake Griff
PG13
Wade/McGruder
Jeff Teague

That would be a scary!

This is still possible!!!! Or instead of Blake, we go after Gordan!

George has put the Pacers in a tough spot. Broadcasting that he's gone puts them at a major disadvantage. Wouldn't be surprised by anything tbh.

It's low risk tbh. TJ's salary is spiking anyway next year so atleast we get out of his contract at very least. I see PG loving it here and having a hard time passing up that bird rights max deal.

What if the Heat took on a bad contract(i.e. Jefferson) and give them McBoB TJ and Winslow?

Miami does have the capspace and you can rearrange it to look like 14 Winslow and McBob or 14 TJ and McBob for Jefferson and PG or something to that affect.....

I would pick swap with the Pacers. Dont feel like we would need to give up the pick totally.

No bad contracts. The savings are to sign JJ and Dion.

You serious? They pick 18. We pick 14. That's a bit insulting.

If the trade is for AJ/PG for TJ/JW/McBob, Miami would have 21M for JJ/Dion which can be done depending on length of contract.

Plus AJ is an expiring for Pat to use at the trade deadline.

Yeah four spots up is still four spots up. Pacers have little leverage at this point and we are giving them a 21 year old previous lotto pick with tons of potential and a likely starter at two guard in TJ.

Yeah I don't get this.... Indy is not in a position to demand anything and everyone knows it, why all the negotiating bluster. Makes them look too reactionary by tipping their hand.

Dude, not how it works. We're not the only team interested.
