It was less than that, the Irving pick was actually the Clippers pick that was part of the Baron Davis trade. That one had a 2.8% chance of getting top by itself, I doubt that the total was 1%, more like 0.1%.
But yeah, this was an uninspired result. Heat had a great "reward the anti-tanker" story, and the Lakers & Celtics getting screwed by the lotto would also show it's not rigged (because them getting 1, 2 is just handing it to the storied franchises).
Phuck the Nets though, why not buy in better player in years where they won't get **** from their picks - go into cap hell to get assets, or throw really unmatchable contracts at RFAs.
Traded their future for an aging star. At least Dragic was in his late's 20's. That franchise is full of stupid.
