Don't understand all the Adebayo hate(okay actually, I do). The Heat obviously saw something special. If he reaches his potential we'll be talking about a power-forward who can defend positions 1-5 and stretch the floor. You guys hate the pick now but after Summer League you'll all be praising him and thanking the FO.

I thought bam was gonna go later, and he has some flaws that limit what he can do in today's era as a big who doesn't really protect the rim, but he's athletic as hell, has a crazy motor, likes to dunk on people, and has a decent skill level. I'll admit, he does have some heat in him. Like dion said you gotta be a dog to play here and bam is definitely a dog. He plays really hard

We picked **** Willy Reed 2.0 for a league that doesn't play Centers anymore.

WE picked a dog in the middle of the cat era.

He's unplayable next to Hassan. He's a 10 minutes a night player for the next 3 seasons.

This the best we could do?

I'm literally sitting at work, talking all the smack I can to my NYK loving counterpart, about how Riley wouldn't touch a big man in this era of the NBA. Literally had to walk back into my office to keep from breaking something. Last season was such a waste of time. We've basically turned into a treadmill team with the current talent. Compounding that issue is there isn't a true superstar that's a free agent that gets close to Cavs.

they say he hit some 3's in practice. **** BS. He's years away from even trying to jack up a 3 in a real game. he's a 65% FT shooter. He can't play PF in todays league.

Why limit yourself to a 10 minutes backup, we could have taken a gamble on someone that had a chance to be a real contributor.

Man I didnt think you guys would go that route. Not just that you guys took him, but you took him at 14. I definitely thought you guys were in a rough place at 14, just missing out on the top guards and wings. I thought you guys were going to trade up to get a wing/guard or trade down to get a stretch 4 in Leaf or Lydon. Im not the biggest fan of Bam, the dude is a very explosive athlete but his defense was just meh (thats why he shouldnt get any Dwight comparisons) and he has solid form on his jumper and it has potential, but Riley is taking a huge leap of faith that he can develop a legit 3pt shot. Maybe best case scenario he gets his jumper down and he becomes like a Serge Ibaka type player. Im just not seeing it though.
