Yea...honestly I just don't see it.

People keep saying they're impressed by his elite athleticism, for some reason he just looks like a good athlthe to me. Not great. I don't see the bounciness of a young Dwight. Maybe it's a matter of getting in better shape, but 19YO usually just add strength, not quickness. Maybe I'm missing something, need to see more.

He did surprise me with his skill level, which is just as important.

check out the windmills, tomahawks and spins. granted up against HS players and this was a few years ago but the guy is only going to get stronger/faster especially with how the heat work you out

theres fluidity in his movements and a burst you typically dont see from big men

time will tell
kid really looks like Bk but with a better shooting range.let's wait and see, call me crazy but if he really develops he could be baby lebron

Baby? He's taller and longer than LeBron. Bam has nowhere near the vision nor the balance & coordination to warrant such comparison.

Bam will be TOP 10 in free throws every season. Thats for sure.

GameTime_3 wrote:Bam looks like a Dwight/Ibaka type prospect. Early on you can see the size and body structure is there. Very athletic and has a strength about him. Love the motor and willing to do the little things. Needs to work on jumper but he already shown he has good form at FT line and plays above the rim.

It's going to be interesting to see how he is used.... I pray he is not wasted like bosh was. Don't leave him in no mans land... just to stretch the floor.

We all hope he develops a 3 pointer, but I pray he is not camped out at the 3 point line.

He has a natural awareness on offense, when he is around the basket he is pulling down rebounds and making sure shots go in and he does that with a Birdman like energy.

Some people have said he has low BBiq ( compared to whom I wonder) if that's the case then you have to give him credit for fantastic sitiuational awareness and attention to detail.

Poor game today, but that's not unexpected. It'll happen from time to time.

The early signs are good. Looking forward to seeing how he goes this season as Hassan's backup.

Athleticism, motor and timing. That's what made Dennis Rodman so great.

It was great seeing how little respect he gave Shaq, just foul the crap out of him. Also I loved the fist pumps after every garbage layup made haha, like he just hit some 40 foot long put to win the Masters. Must have been infuriating to watch after awhile if you did not keep your cool.

iirc a knock on Bam was small hands. For those who've been watching him in summer league, has that been an issue?

Like cmon now. If this is what we're truly working with, then outside of Fultz there isn't a prospect I'd rather have had than this cat right now.
