First trade: Terrible for us. Whiteside's talents are more important for us than Kyrie's, imo.
Second trade: I think that Spurs don't do this trade. Also, you know that Aldridge has heart issues, right? I'm done with that for a while.

Whiteside's arguably not a top 30 player, (Not eeb'm the best player on our 46-49 W squad) since when is he untouchable?

My source said that we were exploring a three team deal and the Cavs thought they had a deal that would come through that's they liked better and then just blew us off and exposed us to the media because they are the Cavs.
Internally, no worries. Our guys are cool for now.

Yeah, the only players who are untouchable are the Lebron, Curry, Durant, etc. types

Although I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs wish they could trade Lebron with these HeGone rumors heating up :)

I don't think Miami would really want to do that Spurs trade either

I don't think it's as terrible as you do, but it's still not quite right. If we had a second deal ready to give us the post player we needed, then If be very willing to pull the trigger on a deal based around Whiteside for Kyrie. Kyrie is on another level than Hassan, and this is a big for small, long contract for shorter type of deal.

As I said, I would only touch that if we had the Dragic for a C deal lined up. But, I'm not sure that LMA is the big I'd be aiming for - I think I'd rather more of a defensive presence, or to be going full-throttle on the pace & space (LMA is neither of those).

Yeah Chalm, heart issues aside, Aldridge has been pretty trash since he became a Spur.. esp. the last season.

The dude runs like he jogs, and a lot slower and less explosive in general.. you know those are the things that you can't really blame on a system. Heat regimen will probably crush his gimpy soul lol

Riley held the door open during Wade's exit last summer. You all seriously think he gives a damn about Goran, Justise or anyone else catching feelings?

Is Kyrie really an upgrade over Whiteside? His presence in the paint does wonders. Golden State has not had to deal with a center like him in the finals. Him and Bam could do some damage.

The Whiteside overrating is wild. The guy is 28 & he may never make an all star team his whole damn career and some of you are calling him more impactful than Kyrie freaking Irving. Where did all the smart Heat fans go? :/

If smart means break up our entire team for a Kyrie Irving so we can hand the Suns a top-5 pick, well, I guess I'm not smart. I prefer to be competitive and realistic. Our time will come again, but we need to work to get there, instead of going into fellatio mode every time another team's player becomes available.

So because people are uninformed or just too biased and didn't vote for one the leagues best centers, top 3 at least, those of us who do appreciate him are stupid? Because we don't want to give up the 2 best players, Whiteside and Dragic, on our team and trade another, Waiters, for a player who won't give us much more points per possession than Dragic does we're stupid? Okay, I guess I'll have to keep being stupid then.

I can see everyone getting emotional about this, including dude who just called everyone stupid, so I'll end this Whiteside stuff here... C'mon b, he's flawed but would easily become our best player regardless of whom would come off roster. Going to have a tough time seeing Goldenstate with Whiteside as our second best player, let alone winning one game if we got there. AD won zero Playoff games against them, Marc Gasol 2

The meta game is strong here. That's how you break a team like ours. Turn these men who are friends into anonymous interchangeable cogs and screws.

Re: Weber. Give him a chance. Put him in camp and see if you can teach him to shoot without panicking. His defense is excellent. If it works out, we have a good backup. If not, we lose nothing much.

Regardless, Walton and Williams need to work in Sioux Falls until the trade deadline. Then we'll reevaluate.

But GOM they are anonymous interchangeable cogs and screws especially to Pat. That’s the simple truth and if reality is all it takes to break us that should tell you all you need to know about this team. I have no doubt Pat made that offer, Pat is Pat.

I agree above.

I don't think Dan has the balls to stick forks in our team when Riley is in charge for no apparent reason. Riley for sure did try to join in on the Kyrie bid-war.

We have no idea how Kyrie will gel with this team. Will he and Waiters clash? Kyrie gives you nothing on the defensive end. Losing Winslow along with Whiteside in a package deal means losing a top 10 defender and 1 who could give Durant problems. Cleveland couldn't rebound against Golden Sdidn't

Whiteside gives our team second chance opportunities with his rebounding. Something Thompson should have done but didn't.
