Not surprised. A lot of guys in the mix in the top five.

I guess there experience with Henry Giles leaves them confident in their medical staff. Will they develop into something special, appears to be 5 years down the road till we find out.

Stolen from GB:

http://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/23509884/2018-nba-mock-draft-teams-deandre-ayton-luka-doncic-trae-young-lottery

Kings have zeroed in on Bagley and will pass on Doncic, whom they are low on. Trae falls to Clippers at 12 after Shai and Sexton move higher up the draft boards. Here is their mock draft as of two hours ago fueled by Woj intel (he gave same mock on a show last night).

1. Suns- DeAndre Ayton
2. Kings- Marvin Bagley
3. Hawks- Jaren Jackson Jr
4. Grizzlies- Luka Doncic
5. Mavericks- Mohamed Bamba
6. Magic- Wendell Carter Jr
7. Bulls- Michael Porter Jr
8. Cavaliers- Shai G. Alexander
9. Knicks- Kevin Knox
10. Sixers- Mikal Bridges
11. Hornets- Collin Sexton
12. Clippers- Trae Young
13. Clippers- Jerome Robinson
14. Nuggets- Miles Bridges
15. Wizards- Lonnie Walker
16. Suns- Aaron Holiday
17. Bucks- Zhaire Smith
18. Spurs- Robert Williams
19. Hawks- Kevin Huerter
20. Timberwolves- Donte DiVincenzo
21. Jazz- Troy Brown
22. Bulls- Elie Okobo
23. Pacers- De'Anthony Melton
24. Blazers- Josh Okogie
25. Lakers- Grayson Allen
26. 76ers- Dzanan Musa
27. Celtics- Keita Diop
28. Warriors- Moritz Wagner
29. Nets- Chandler Hutchison
30 Hawks- Jalen Brunson

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/250243/Mohamed-Bamba-Trying-To-Avoid-Being-Drafted-By-Grizzlies

Mohamed Bamba is attempting to avoid being drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies.

"Mo Bamba has refused to come to work out for Memphis, refused to share his medicals, and has told them openly he would prefer not to be in Memphis," said Jonathan Givony on 929 ESPN in Memphis.

The Grizzlies own the No. 4 overall pick in the draft.

Memphis has an uncertain short-term outlook at they try to avoid rebuilding.

Jerome Robinson at 13? Boy came up quick

If Clippers got Trae and Robinson :nonono:

Don't see any Mitchell Robinson on that list, his interviews or workouts must have been unworthy

Interesting?

Any way we can get the 12 & 13 off the Clippers then snag Trae & Miles?

Don't think so. From what I've read, the Clips want to pair those picks and move up.

Not sure how much 12 and 13 can get the Clips. Maybe 8th or 9th pick.

I wonder where they'll fall. I just can't see how Philly passes on Mikal with the 10th pick if they keep it. Its a stellar fit.

If I'm dealing 12 and 13 in this draft, I want Top 5-6. Someone like Memphis could consider 12, 13 and a player for 4 you'd think.

Winslow
Jrich
Mikal Bridges
Miles Bridges
Bam

I hope Spo can develop and use Bam, so he does not turn into Whiteside 2.0

Maybe Memphis would do it. I'm hard pressed to see that big of a move for late lotto picks though. The difference between the Bamba or Doncic and Zhaire Smith or Robert Williams is pretty vast.

Maybe, maybe not. Robert Williams was a likely Top 7 pick last year, returned to school and it didn’t work out for him. But he’s still a quality prospect IMO. I really like him.

Would you rather Bamba or SGA and Rob Will? I know you’re a big Bamba guy, and I’m a Doncic guy, but that’s not bad value if you’re looking to stock up on young talent and push for playoffs.

Bamba, hands down. I am not a Rob Will fan. I can appreciate what you find attractive about him, but I'm not swayed. SGA is a very interesting player. I can see why teams would be wanting him higher than his previous mock suggestions.

However, Bamba has super elite physical traits, a brain, and a varied skill set.

Even though he's lanky, I think he's got a solid build with room for nice gains. He's a guy I can look at and say, "If we can surround him with the right guys, and not **** this up, he'll be a lynchpin of a championship caliber team down the road". I love those elite glue guys. Give me Bamba. Give me Mikal. Then give me the superstud who's going to lead...ahem, Nassir Little.

Spoiler:
FWIW, I also am fond of JJJ, but don't think he's the alpha teams want him to become. I can build him into a great team, but I'm not expecting superstar contributions from him.
