Manu would be a damn good ceiling.

I would have him maybe third since Porter's back took him out of the running. I feel like Bagley and Ayton are too good to pass on.

Prime Manu was a great athlete in NBA standards, Doncic..not so much.

But he's bigger, just as skilled (probably more for his age) and just as smart.

Reminds me a bit of a better mike miller, better handle and passing. That's young prime miller pre-injuries.

Prime Miller was good, and largely underrated because he didn't feel like he was dominating, just doing his thing quietly.

Doncic will benefit from being behind Simmons, as teams will be more happy to run their point through the forward position seeing how successful he's been. That will help Doncic maximise his strengths, as long as whoever drafts him realises that's what they have to do.

Who would you pick if we landed in the top spot? Say we got last place in the lotto and hit gold...

For me it's a toss up between Doncic and Bagley. Both will play right away for us and help us, but both also offer long term direction. I think Bagley maybe has the edge at this point for me fit wise, but I can see the potential of both Doncic and Ayton.

Top pick is tricky at the moment, but unfortunately I would say No to Doncic.

Love his game, great talent. But to me he's very likely to become a good player and unlikely to become a contending franchise player. Very safe pick without that superstar ceiling.

For me, you've got to aim higher with #1 pick - you have to go for potential superstar that can transform your team for a decade, Even if you end up losing the gamble.

Weather that's Ayton, Bagley or even Porter (if shows to be healthy)- remains to be seen.

Early impression - Bagley highest upside. Reminds me a bit of a Bosh/Randolph hybrid, with more athleticism.

Trae/Booker/Jackson/Warren would be something, I think. At least cool collection of prospects/names

Very exciting bigs coming up this year, wonder if teams will get influenced by smallball style when considering picks.

6'2 with 6'4 wingspan, going to be tough to pick in top 5 but can't argue with production I guess unless you're Danny Ainge

Gonna have to sell being a point in the league, too small to play the 2

All for the hair fads but it's getting too anime

You guys realize we won't have a pick this year right?

We're not bad enough to pick in the top 8.

**** the world I'm all Heat baby.

But yea some interesting guys this year. With todays stars mentality, drafting is becoming bigger and bigger. You need a star to get a star.

Spoiler:
Especially **** the spurs always drafting stars in late second round smh

Would sacrifice a goat to get a couple of guys in this draft.

Who do we need to trade to get this lineup?

Ayton
JJJ
Mikal
Trier
Trae

According to current mocks:
Tankathon - 2/7/9/10/2nd
NBADraft.net -1/5/7/13/2nd

So you'll need 4 lottos, 3 of them top-10 & 2 of them top-5, with 1st. Trier should be able to be obtained pretty easily via an early 2nd or late 1st.

You'll need to trade everyone, pretty much, and then win a bunch of those trades.

I think we can do it. Might have to give up on J cubed though.

How though?

I can see a world where the Cavs trade the Nets pick for Whiteside, and we tank the phuck out of the back end of the season. But at best that relies on us getting the bounce of the balls. That gets us Austin and Mikal.

How do we get Trae as well? Is there a team willing to throw a lotto pick at us for Dragic? Even top-10 protected. Magic are the only potential lotto team that needs to sure up the PG spot and may just have the desperation to chase a PO run next year. Maybe if they go on a streak just before the deadline and feel the PO are within their reach.

Sixers may just be willing to trade the Lakers pick for a PO push, it all depends on what they value from this year.

Who else on our roster has first round value? Bam - but do we want to give up on someone who's ceiling could be STAT-lite with range & D? He honestly shows just enough flashes to make me believe his ceiling is somewhere near there - but obviously we all know that reaching a ceiling is so much harder than showing brief glimpses of it.

Trae's becoming a must have for me and my fantasy draft rebuild. The kid is good at basketball. Would be a fine point on my fantasy team.

Sviatoslov Mykhailiuk. Found him watching some Lagerald Vick and I think he’s gonna be very good. Such a smith shot. Klay like.

He’s doing very well. Shooting 45% from 3 while taking about 7 a game. And he can shoot it from very deep. Averages about 17 a game. And what I love most is that he’s a 20 year old 4 year college player. That’s crazy.
