Manu would be a damn good ceiling.
I would have him maybe third since Porter's back took him out of the running. I feel like Bagley and Ayton are too good to pass on.
Prime Manu was a great athlete in NBA standards, Doncic..not so much.
But he's bigger, just as skilled (probably more for his age) and just as smart.
Reminds me a bit of a better mike miller, better handle and passing. That's young prime miller pre-injuries.
Prime Miller was good, and largely underrated because he didn't feel like he was dominating, just doing his thing quietly.
Doncic will benefit from being behind Simmons, as teams will be more happy to run their point through the forward position seeing how successful he's been. That will help Doncic maximise his strengths, as long as whoever drafts him realises that's what they have to do.
Who would you pick if we landed in the top spot? Say we got last place in the lotto and hit gold...
For me it's a toss up between Doncic and Bagley. Both will play right away for us and help us, but both also offer long term direction. I think Bagley maybe has the edge at this point for me fit wise, but I can see the potential of both Doncic and Ayton.
