Yeah, from what I read, Ohtani wanted to play for a west coast team with a smaller market. Angels are a good fit, you're living in a big city like LA, but the media attention is focused on the Dodgers and Angels usually go under the radar. I really thought he'd go to Seattle, but I guess maybe he didn't want to compete with Ichiro's GOAT legacy there.

Can't wait to see him play. He'll be good pitcher right away with that 100 mph heater, but I think it'll take a while for him to be a good hitter though. I still can't believe he'll be making the rookie minimum salary for the next few years. If he had waited just two more years before coming here, he'd have gotten a $200+ million contract easily. Respect to him for not caring about the money lol.

Seemed like kinda' a pity stoppage but that kid would have took a beating for 6 rounds or at the least 4 and his corner would have let him

Wouldnt this effect us too? Since majority of the websites are American based? Idk, I haven't really looked too much into it.

Hopefully It's just Americans paying, lets hope chalms gg
