He has deficiencies for sure, like he's not a ballhandler. He's an accessory. Too many TOs and too little outside shooting.

Part of the problem is that we don't have that go to guy that puts everyone else into place, let's them play their roles. That leaves us with guys trying to do too much, or play outside their capabilities. That's exactly what I see out of JRich.

If he could just play his role as an ancillary piece, then I think we'd see good things. However, we haven't had that opportunity so far this season.

Just inconsistent, he hasn't had a good first half of a season since he got here and only a few good games last year. Time will tell if he can find that consistency, lower iq players usually have a harder time doing that.- Want to see him break that stigma or become a real sharp 3 pt shooter... Maybe if he focused mainly on shooting he would be more consistent

Richer' man's Norris Cole. Agreed on giving him a lesser role focusing on his strengths (3&D supposedly)

This was/still is a good contract AAV wise, just wish the years were a bit shorter. However, given how Riley thrown multiple long term deals this past summer, Josh's current deal won't further hurt us as this team will likely be the same for 2-3 years.

Money is one thing, we may need him to take a significant leap

Josh is in his mid-20's and doesn't profile as a scorer. Josh at his best is a high level 3&D guy, and his contract is reasonable given that is what he is.

Trying to play Josh at the 3 has been a very bad idea. He lacks the strength and his length is minimized.

One of the following has to go for the team to improve; Josh, Tyler J, Wayne E.

His size and game is definitely better suited for the 2 unfortunately he can't be moved until the summer. I don't know who wants TJ's contract right now and not sure who'd be interested in Wayne..Maybe see if Orlando is interested in a swap for Hezonja?

I don't think we can keep both TJ and Rich long term, especially if long-term includes Waiters. I think McGruder's going to cover one of their roles

He needs more "3" to justify that contract.

We have a ton of flawed SGs.

Surely...surely this is the time where we send Rich back to the bench unit where he belongs. Right?

If we could just make Rich the back up two guard we would be in a better place.
