Damn, don't like the timing of this. Was hoping it happened weeks into the season. Hard to not see him signing with the Cavs.
Come home, D-Wade. Don't pull a Ewing and end up playing for 3 or 4 different franchises to end your career.

Cavs, Thunder and Heat are the 3 teams I see him possibly signing with.
If he really wants to start then Heat aren't an option - we just paid Waiters to start & Winslow/Richardson should be battling for the starting SF spot. A starting perimeter group of Dragic/Waiters/Wade would be interesting, but in the wrong way.

IF Wade signed with Miami for the 4.3 mill, after giving the Bulls back 8 mill, what would be his net salary difference tham if he had just taken the Heat contract he was offered? Including tax implications etc? My understanding was we offered him 2 yrs at 40 mill and he got 2 years at 48 mill or something (so 44.3 mill) so now we would be talking 3.7 mill difference but with Miami having no state taxes, so would be even less. We would have missed out on JJ and Dion (and Derrick Williams and Luke Babbitt etc) as well though I would think
