Hello my fellow Heat forum users/lurkers/trolls/BlueJays fans I hereby regretfully inform you that DayofMourning AKA DoM AKA Hippytalanta is stepping down as a Miami Heat forum mod.

DoM was on his way to mod stardom, broke the RealGM record of youngest Global Mod status by 18 months, but then it hit him hard that as a local recent grad pharmacist, he has a son to feed and bills to pay... so much so that he realizes that he simply cannot maintain his GOAT status as a top dog in star-laden Heat mod crew.

As a top dog and two-time back-to-back MVP, DoM was instrumental in communicating with RealGM posters and mods across the board and keeping the Miami Heat forum virtually troll-free. I personally cannot thank him enough for making my life easier as a mod and as a poster not only for his masterful modding skills, but also guidance and suggestions he generously provided me with in an always timely manner. DoM was also extremely talented in finding the randomest gifs that made a lot of talented gifers on the forum simply jealous.

Please join me in wishing him well in his future endeavors. Fortunately for us, he's promised to stop by occasionally as a regular poster/retired mod so hopefully we get to keep on reading his insightful and hilarious posts going forward.

DOM has been a wonderful Moderator during his tenure.

He has the respect of so many of his co-Moderators behind the scenes and really hope he has the time to return at a later date which he has an open invite to do at any time.

Thanks guys. It has been a fun experience moderating this forum. The real world has me in its clutches though, and doing the job the way it should be done wasn't in the cards anymore.

I will be posting, though not as often. Looking forward to an awesome year from our team and some great convo on these boards.

You won't have time to miss me much as I will still be around, but sometimes fewer and farther between.
