Waiters and Dragic handle the ball a lot in the starting unit. If you start JJ, then you've got another guy who can handle, and who isn't a great shooter. Probably would work better to have JRich there to complement the strengths of the others. Off the bench, Winslow could have KO and TJ to toss to.

Winslow doesn't have to handle so much and can work off the ball, there's also a good chance JJ continues to come off the bench which doesn't help Winslow so much. Dion and Dragic can spot-up and are much more natural ballhandlers that can break defenses down and set up Winslow. I'd much rather see him with that group. Probably would be harder to fit him with JJ/TJ than Dion/Dragic. As long as Winslow doesn't tear the starters to the ground (Which he shouldn't/wouldn't) I think it would be better for the team overall

i think there is even less upside handing the starting spot to a guy that doesnt deserve it. instead of forcing him minutes let him play 5-10 off the bench.

He fits better with the starters, it would be more like forcing him unto the bench and hoping he finds his way, which I'd rather avoid

My opinion without reading any prior posts;

- Winslow needs development time in the G-League (Clanked a wide open 3 off the iron /ball clanked like 10lb weight.)
- Haslem should retire to allow the roster more flexibility. (His selfishness is an obstacle not an asset)
- Ellington is a chucker & when he's off he's ineffective. (Should have signed Gian Clavell instead.)
- AJ Hammons needs to be cut. (Keith Benson showed more than this guy has)
- Matt Williams needs to be cut. (See Ellington)
- If Okaro doesn't start putting up numbers, he should be cut. (No time for un-drafted players with spotty play)
- Jordan Mickey is outplaying Okaro and is earning a roster spot. (Will likely be cut knowing how things go)

Dude flops like a fish. The first one seemed like he got shot by a semi automatic shotty.

Love how the ESPN reporters didn't quote Hassan's responses after.

Pretty much confirms Whiteside's first tweet.

OH espn...
