My question is why leak that out, unless TJ agent leaked it out

That's not really news though, anybody would know we're not trying to pay him 20 mil. Problem is nobody else wants to either

He can try. But with a $19 mil salary + a $19 mil player option + a 15% trade kicker ... I can't see how he gets it done without taking back someone else's toxic contract. Even if we attach Bam.

The trade kicker would be paid by the heat so that’s not a problem. I think they’d be happy to pay it to get the contract off the books. But yeah those 19 mil looking tough to move which is really a 21 million cap hit though because of the trade kicker. (Even though the acquiring team won’t pay the kicker it counts toward the cap)

Even Riley knew he was overpaying to keep TJ at the time. Brooklyn forced our hand. I forget why we decided to keep him.

Supposedly Micky didn't want to give up an asset for free. Now we'll probably have to give up an asset to have him hauled away.

I have a feeling Mickey had something personal against Brooklyn.

We seem to be being run by "something personal" the last couple years. Everybody seems to have a gripe with somebody

Just saw that Rodney is going down to Sioux Falls until the Sixers game. I hope this doesn't mean Winslow is still in the starting line-up. Get Babbitt in there to start. The HEAT is 25th in offense. They can't continue to play 4 on 5.

lets just pretend that this season doesnt count  with that type of numbers on the heat resume its hard to see that they are a playoff team or they could advance beyond the second round if they clinch

yeah that was a pretty stupid move by him and the heat organization.oh well what is done its done

The old addage "guys aren't hitting their shots" cannot apply here, because if it is, then why the **** are we capped out?!

It shows Miami as having the easiest schedule remaining by a fairly large margin. Tonight's game could be quite huge. Any game the HEAT win against a playoff team on the road could be the difference between playoffs or not. I'm confident they make it.

It's a 2 horse race. Us and the Pistons. Detroit is 1.5 games back. If we win tonight and they lose to the Celtics, it'll be 2.5 games with 24 games left. Simply playing > .500 after that should get it done.

Probably.
