Sky Force roster is out. Its made up of pretty much every player the Heat brought into training camp that didnt make the cut.

KZ played his first game for the Skyforce tonight. Played 17 minutes. 2 points on 0-5 shooting, 3 rebounds, 3 fouls.

It's way too early to judge, and he's just coming back from a lengthy injury.

But I have to admit I'm not seeing whatever the scouts saw in him. he has some tools, but from the little I saw, he looks 2 years vaway from being 2 years away.

Should give him a couple of months at least to get some rhythm back. He'll probably be good, our scouts did an unbelievable job lately, and he's tall and long and young and has some touch..

KZ might be a project. His fundamentals seems to be his weak points

KZ stats in his 2nd game. 21 minutes: 9 points on 4-6 shooting (1-1 from 3), 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 6 fouls. Was a team high +16.

Not worried about Okpala. I watched three of the Stanford games last season. He's going to shine.

He'd just be getting the rust off. He'll be dominating in Sioux Falls before long.

3rd game for KZ: 15 points on 4-14 shooting, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks in 27 minutes

Best thing that he can do right now is get those court minutes over sitting at the end of our bench in a suit. He needs a good 20 games before we can see where he is at in his development.

2 games since the g-league showcase game, 2 more rough outings for KZ.

6 games so far for KZ: 27 minutes: 7.2ppg on 26% shooting (1-10 from 3), 5 rpg, 1.2 apg, .5spg, .8 bpg

he cant be that bad. it's got to be rust after the long layoff.

no way we botched the pick that badly, lets give him a couple of months of consistent minutes.

couldn't find any articles\interview addressing his struggles.

I am not surprised he is starting off slow. The one thing I notice watching him in college was his fundamentals were not good. The opposite of Herro. I do not think he had good coaches at Stanford. Then you add he missed summer league as well. I was hoping defensively he would may be valuable. And maybe he will learn fast sense he is a Stanford acedemic student. But hey its obvious he is a project so give him time to develop.

When Miami mentioned that Herro and KZ were like 9th and 10th (from memory) on their draft board, I thought this was amazing, we are good drafters and managed 2 x 'top 10' picks in one season. Then Herro came firing out the gates and I thought hey, this KZ guy must be a secret weapon too. These reports sadden me, but it is early days
