The Bulls are one of the 4 Eastern Conference teams I consider rivals (Knick, Celtics, Pacers, & Bulls, in that order.) We've had historic postseason games with all these teams, which I believe is a necessary condition. I believe our greatest rivals (again in order) are the Knicks, Spurs, and Mavericks. A great team needs great rivals.

Here is our colorful record with Chicago:
50-57 regular season (19-35 at Chicago, 31-22 at home)
13-18 playoff games (5-12 at Chicago, we’ve won our last 4 postseason games there)
3-4 playoff series (MIA wins 2006, 2011, 2013. CHI wins 2007 (a sweep), 1997, 1996, 1992).
2006, of course, was our Finals win. We knocked the Bulls out in the first round, 4-2.
2011, after losing the first game, we beat them in the Eastern Conference Finals, 4-1. This series included our only overtime postseason win against the Bulls.
2013 we beat them in the semifinals, 4-1.
Bulls are just incomprehensible to me. Their natural condition is hostility, and they're also known for their stupidity. People take great joy in outsmarting them (there is an entire sport dedicated to killing them), but it's funnier when the people are dumber:

I don't know what's going on here, but I'm sure a Bulls fan can explain:

Falling down is a pregame ritual maybe?
I have to say I love Chicago, though. They are the adopted home of one of the great jambands, Umphrey's McGee:
