He needs to go. This doesn’t feel tenable at all. He was terrible in the playoffs, but hopefully teams remember he actually had a decent season and a good year last year. In the right team and environment he will probably flourish, but it’s not here anymore.

The worst thing that ever happened to Whiteside was Pat talking about running the offense through him in the low post. That was delusional, but Whiteside believed it. That affected his expectations and eventually his attitude.

Hopefully as the next few months pass, memories of this series will dwindle a little and teams will remember the good things he actually can do. Both sides (Heat and Hassan) deserve blame for what this relationship has disintegrated into, but you’d think there will be some teams interested in taking a stab. He only has 2 more years.

To me, the Hassan experiment faild for 3 main reasons :

1. Skillset - he's just an old school big in a league that's going the other direction.

2. Atitude - He's not a Heat type player, just way too self absorbed.

3. Surrounding cast - I think he might have worked here if we had great vshooters at PG, SG, SF, PF. he needs alot of spacers around him, he needs a quick PF next to him, he needs a great passing PG to find him. We're simply not that team right now.

Lakers will keep there capspace for 2019. Also a more Machiavelli view might be that Whiteside in a stroke of genius tanks his value even more on purpose knowing we can’t trade him for pennies on the dollar, gets to stay in Sunny Miami and is a constant reminder, a big FU to Spo for not playing him. All of this could have been prevented but we reap what we sow...

What’s a HEAT TYPE PLAYER? I keep hearing people say this. James Johnson, beats his wife, is that a HEAT TYPE PLAYER? What about Dion Waiters? I don’t think there is a “Heat type player”, Everyone just throws out this culture BS... When in reality the Heat are just like any other team. Difference is Pat Riley. That’s it.

Hassan quit on his team a plethora of times and is undoubtedly the most selfish and self-promoted player on the team. Exact opposite of a model Heat Player. See: Wade, Mourning, Haslem, Bosh

He's a god damn clown. He plays extremely soft. He can't play without fouling or folding. He's a black hole when he does get the ball and he isn't someone that protects the ball in the post either.

and a PF like Draymond Green

You put in with those 4 around him, I still think he can be very good if the coach gets to his head.

The last 10 seconds was utterly pathetic. Ben Simmons is guarding him and he doesn't even try to position himself for the ball. Just pathetic effort. He may do better elsewhere but his time here is done.
