http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-heat/fl-sp-miami-heat-hassan-whiteside-s20180331-story.html#"Man, it’s annoying," said Whiteside, who was pulled for good with 3:55 to play in the third quarter. "Why we matching up? We got one of the best centers in the league. Why we matching up? A lot of teams don’t have a good center. They’re going to use their strength.
"It's bull---. It’s really bull---, man," Whiteside said. "There’s a lot of teams that could use a center. S---. That's bull---."
It was Whiteside's second game back after missing nine with a strained hip flexor.
Asked if he thought it was time to talk to the coaching staff, Heat President Pat Riley or General Manager Andy Elisburg, Whiteside said, "No. I don’t know if it is because of a minutes restriction or what. The minutes have been like that all year. It’s just really frustrating and it's been frustrating.
"It’s tough. I don’t know man, it’s crazy. I don’t understand it."
Asked if it has him questioning his future with the team, he said. "I don't know, maybe."
Asked who he might take the issue up with, he said, "I don’t know."
I was questioning throughout this game if it's worth it to keep a guy who's only playing 19mpg all season and being paid ?the max salary?
If we do trade him, it'll be selling low, depending on how you view his contract. He's capable of putting up some pretty good numbers when given playing time, but he also looks disinterested at times.

Don't know what his future is here...they'll cross that bridge when they get to it this summer
More concerned with this kind of frustration showing up right before playoffs. Might amount to nothing and everything will be fine by atl games, might lead to bad/disinterested play by Hassan to end the season

DEUCES, big homie!!!! Taking your crybaby ass elsewhere!!! I’m over it with him, man. Love his confidence and work ethic, but he’s a big ass baby - who is also very expensive. It’s gonna be difficult to deal him for anything valuable, but getting off of his money should be good enough.

It's time to move on. Just not worth a max contract. He's too injury prone and hasn't developed a consistent offensive game. Plus he gets like a baby when things don't get his way. It's a shame too because he has everything to be a great center if he was more mature.

Really no point keeping him if he's playing 19-20mpgs with max salary. Plus the C position is changing or has changed drastically. Drummond puts up amazing stats but gets no where for an example.
Mobile C's that can shoot and be quick around the court (Kelly/Bam) should be enough for now.
Love the dude but would be nice if we can gets picks/great shooters for him.

I remember a few sensible fans wanted to move him at the deadline, not because of dislike for Hassan, but because it just didn't make sense to pay him a max contract to play 60% of the game. The Hassan fan boys had the pitch forks out. Now the chickens are going to come home to roost. Same stuff a few of us were saying months ago, now everyone is going to get on board.

Is this how you want to go on about it? Because "some" said so?
Hassan still plays really well given the minutes and opportunity, no denying that. Unfortunate injuries sidelined him due to it.
Now if hes getting injured often and playing barely any minutes, its a no-brainer to trade him away.
So dont give that bs excuse on "Yeah see, we said so"

Good. People will bish about him all they want. We should trade him while we can and watch him dominate elsewhere. Lets continue to pretend heat are a better team without Whiteside despite stats showing otherwise.
Whiteside was getting benched on the regular before his injury woes so let's not pretend like it's injury that's keeping him out.

Would you take back your pick 15 for Whiteside?
