I posted this on July 5, 2013. Fresh off of our b2b championship, with the Finals win against the Spurs. I was saying that it was the perfect moment to trade Bosh for a legit Center to fix our rebounding issues, and to get Lebron to stay past 2014.

I wrote :

"We won't 3peat as constructed. Everyone here is mostly short sighted.

They forget we lost the NBA Finals if not for several miracles in a row. The Spurs had a 98.5% probability to win when they were up 5 with 28 seconds to go. Manu missed a FT, Kawhi missed a FT, 2 offensive rebounds, 2 made three-pters for us, and a no call on Ginobili drive.


We got taken to 7 games by Pacers.


I am tired of small ball. This is a perfect opportunity.

Houston WILL listen. Howard will want a stretch 4. Bosh can't be too upset, because he already got 2 rings and is going to a championship contender in HOU. A stretch 4 next to Howard is good for them.


And we finally get a legit C with double digit rebounds and interior defense.

Bosh for Asik + pieces, maybe a multi team trade. I'd like a draft pick too. This helps us long term with keeping LeBron too. No more size disadvantage, no more asking LeBron to bust his ass to get us rebounds because Bosh is soft as tissue paper."

"Pipe dream. We will -never- ever ever ever get a real Center while Bosh is making the same $ as LeBron.

Period. Them's the facts.

Sacrifice Bosh or play small ball for the rest of LeBron's stay. Watch him bolt in 2014 because of how we get outrebounded all day and ask LeBron to bust his ass rebounding in that "TEAM REBOUND" mode just to make up the difference in size.

Well, I'm here again to complain and tell you that we need to trade Whiteside NOW. We should have traded Whiteside at least 1 season ago, but we still have a chance to trade him now before he loses whatever little value he has left.

I'm not sure who you are trying to convince about trading Whiteside.

I would like him traded but realise that if he is not it is probably because his value is so low that we are only taking back worse dead weight. His salary probably gets easier to deal the following season when it is expiring, so while I'm on board with it, I trust that if it doesn't happen, that my front office knows what it is doing.

As for Bosh, I'm not sure any move changes our NBA finals against Spurs - they played and executed as close to perfect basketball as possible. So he still goes to Cleveland.
