I'm thinking about moving to Miami and was wondering if anyone could give some insight. Every video I watch people seem to complain about the cost of living. Is it really that bad? Home values seem to be pretty good even in downtown Miami. I've only ever lived in Minnesota and if anything home values in Minneapolis, at best, are comparable for similarly size and quality condos. Obviously insurance is much more expensive close to the water, but are other expenses that bad? Any suggestions on neighborhoods to avoid in downtown?

Also I'm looking for Fiber gigabit internet, any input there? We only have Centurylink, Xfinity and a smaller company that offer fiber in very limited areas especially in the city.

Hopefully I can take a trip out there soon!

Well I think its expensive in general. Home values have gone up a lot since the bubble. Some places I looked at then have almost triple in price. That said alot of people here don’t make a lot of money. On avg way less than people in the twin cities. So what is expensive to them may not be to you.

We get a lot of people from outside that move here (like yourself or european or south american). Some just buy to flip the house driving price up. It sucks for a lot of people to be priced out of their own hometown.

I don’t think fiber is avalable down here. Here your choices are basically xfinity and uverse. As for condos, someone else can give input. I’d never want to live in one. I like big yards.

São Paulo made it past Palmeiras in the semi-final. The score was 0x0, but Palmeiras was better through most of the game. The decision went to a shootout, and São Paulo won in 6. We took the lead on the 4th penalty, which was missed by Palmeiras, but then Cuca (our new manager) had Tiago Volpi (the goalkeeper) take our 5th penalty. He missed, and Palmeiras evened it up 4x4. We made the 6th attempt, but Palmeiras' player sent it over the crossbar.

We play Santos or Corinthians in the Final. We have won the state championship 21 times, but not since 2005. Palmeiras, who have won 22 times, last won in 2008. Santos, who have won 22 times, last won in 2016 and five times in the last ten years. Corinthians, our archrival, have won 28 times and have won the last two championships.

This is a state championship, which would normally not be such a big deal, except for the fact we have been so awful in general. We are out of the South American Cup, the Libertadores, kicked out in the preliminaries in fact. The big test, the Brazilian Championship, is coming up in a few weeks. It lasts the rest of the season, until December. Amazingly, São Paulo's record in Brazilian Championships is still 231-132-132, which is the best of all teams. We are one of the few never relegated to the second division. Last season we finished fifth, which is not great, but there is some hope.

Hey... we're better than the Heat at least. smh

I am happy with the progress. The progress that we are not a playoff team. I can only hope that the FO apply culture to themselves, take self-responsibility self-accountability and stop quoting motivational lines. Watching the playoffs should be a great move for FO.

First game, in our home stadium last weekend, finished 0x0. Now we play Corinthians in their stadium, in front of their faithful. Winner in normal time wins. If a draw, the championship goes to the winner of a penalty shootout.

glad u came back btw. We lost a lot of good rebel soldiers during Darth Tsherkin’s reign. Hopefully Panda doesn’t soon join the dark side. Too late for iggs though tbh.

I did the Demon of Hatred skip, hoping to explore a bit of the map they blocked off end game. However, I didn't expect the Demon to off himself. Such a shallow victory.
