Don't know what you guys are sad for. Didn't you all want a top 10 pick? But now that we're here you all are getting greedy and want to become Cleveland for a top 3 pick. We barely ever discuss the prospects we could pick at #10 or whatever but instead talk about players we have a low chance of getting. What's wrong with drafting someone like Hachimura, Garland, Morant, Doumbouya, etc.? Those players have high upside and could become stars.

(for archival records)
Riley is rewarding Spo for all the work he put in for a championship, surely. But yeah, this ship has sunk. It needs a reset and Spo may or may not survive the refresh. Spo obviously has championship experience but the question is there on whether he is a decent coach or just a puppet. Tyronne Lue.
You know what Riley did? He left to the Knicks and forged his own way. Sometimes that's what you gotta do. Maybe Spo is too loyal, maybe Riley is too loyal. But this is where we are at and this is what it is.
EIther way, dudes paid (Spo). He aint hurtin. Married a hot ass white girl.
Oh, and never forget: Riley is the dude that went sink or swim in the Finals with motherfn John Starks. LOYAL-TO-A-FAULT
Then Riley came to Miami, built the Heat up from the ashes and was one scorer away from a title...but he ran into the JORDAN MACHINE. Totally respectable. And karma was a bitch as the Knicks took him out. Ha
Then Zo kidney.
And as a final exclamation point, took the Heat to a title with a Wade, a broken Shaq and a bunch of vets. A swan-song.

Pat Riley needs to go as well as Spoelstra, we need a total change up in order to turn this mess of a team around.

Fultz open to a fresh start, sounds like a good young piece for a rebuilding team ...

Would it only take McGruder and Ellington? Fultz value must be pretty bad right?

Doubt it even requires us to include Rodney at this point.
Ellington's no trade restriction expires December 15. He's a Philly native and basically exactly who they need off the bench right now, and going forward. Wayne would have veto rights over any potential deal, but it's hard to see him saying no to going to a contender, in his hometown, with the perfect role for him.
This makes a lot of sense for both franchises. We can try and rehab Fultz back to something resembling an NBA player. I'd definitely be down for rolling the dice on this one. Fultz's value is as low as Anthony Bennett's right now, and I was really high on him in his draft year.
Was the wurs that could happn?

HELL NO. This is exactly what's wrong with you guys. The Heat need a franchise guy. A number 1 pick set to take the league by storm. We dont need another middling 10th-16th pick that becomes a solid role player or an allstar at best. We need a Superstar.
ZION,RJ, or Cam. That is it. Zion probably wont happen tho cuz the league is rigged and stupid ass Cleveland always gets the number one pick after Lebron leaves them. SMH

Dion Waiters for Fultz?
If we get Fultz, ill be officially done with this franchise.
Last thing we need is a mentally ill player that needs coddling.

Trade 1 -
Miami Trade -
Justise Winslow
Utah Trade -
Dante Exum
Trade 2 -
Miami trade -
Goran Dragic
Hassan Whiteside
Miami get -
Bradley Beal
Kelly Oubre
Austin Rivers (12m expiring)
Washington trade -
Kelly Oubre
Bradley Beal
Austin Rivers
Washington get -
Hassan Whiteside
Tobias Harris or Danillo Gallinari (Their preference)
Clippers trade -
Tobias Harris or Danillo Gallinari
Clippers get -
Goran Dragic
Miamis new rotation going forward
PG - Dante Exum (23)
SG - Josh Richardson (25)
SF - Bradley Beal (27)
PF - Top 8 pick (?)
C - Bam Adebayo (21)
6th man - Kelly Oubre (23)
I don't know, give me some feedback on the trades but from what I can gather they're pretty even. I think a haul of Whiteside and Harris or Gallinari who are killing it for the Clippers this year is a good package for Bradley Beal, and keeps Washington competitive whilst they still have John Wall.
For Miami, I really like that young core going forward, I think Exum has so much potential and is a really good defender and passer. You'd have our main scorers playing sg/sf. Our high draft pick that will be coming this year as either a natural power forward or a small ball sf playing pf, and Bam as our rim protector. Kelly Oubre could grow into a really nice 6th man, who can play across multiple positions.

Just scouted Zion. Too big, and didn't make a jumpshot. Got blocked by a Gonzaga midget.
Not impressed. Not convinced. He' like a short center or power forward. He's a tweener that can't shoot in my eyes.
He does intimidate college kids though.

NY 117
BOS 109
The Knicks have been playing without Kristaps Porzingis. We have a real chance of finishing in the top three.

I wrote something similar not long ago. Zion plays like a short center and has to be surrounded by good shooters.
