Man I love Zion. But you gotta think... His style is so reckless. Will he be able to avoid injuries if he tries to posterize every single one of his opponents?

There aren't (m)any players that can play that way for long. Even Russell is showing signs of slowing down. But I think he's talented enough to lose 10% of that athleticism and still be real impactful. Just has to hope he can avoid the bad injurirs

Seems to be built like Prime Chuck with Prime Lebron physical skills. I think if he was going to be injury prone it would of started already because he almost blew his ACL on bad dunk ion high school.

whats up with Spo starting another powerless forward at powerforward. Neither DJJ or Winslow need to be starting at the 4 ever.

True, he could very well have great genetics. But that doesn't stop your teammates from throwing very crappy, dangerous alley-oop passes to you - take Gordon Hayward for example. That was a pretty dangerous alley-oop by Irving that resulted in that injury.

obviously whatever he weighs now he might wanna stay off a little bit of pork and be a little more light-footed because that cannot hurt in general well-being sense.

with that said anybody in NBA is pretty much one funky bad luck injury away from being retirement even if you're a 6'7 twig with no butt. it's pretty much crap shoot who gets injured. i can see him having Charles Barkley type bouncy dominant career without having to lose significant amount of weight because he's so outwardly athletic and he also looks very flexible.

Penny Hardaway, Steve Francis, Tracy McGrady, Grant Hill, Brandon Roy, Hibachi, Danny Granger, Mc SoB to name a few those guys are on skinny cow side whose careers were never the same after some random (mostly unknown/unspecific) injuries.

i wouldn't worry too much about his weight for now as bish said we can only hope our favorite players stay healthy as much as they can

Iggie CrowCat never fails to deliver the loss, you should retire from starting gamethreads, your stench is too strong, you just started and burried the season..

i said he could lose 30 lbs already. possibly more. i'm saying beyond that it's beyond his control and we shouldn't worry about it cuz it's waste of time

Even if he were to lose 30lbs I sure hope he does not come to the heat as long as you keep starting GT, with tyour stench, not even 60 lbs off could save him from injuries...
