By the way, with regards to the crowd at Heat games.

I actually always respected the crowd. It was easy to label them bandwagoners (Lebron era) or point to people preferring the beach, but other than showing up late for games (half empty at the start of games), I actually have always had the impression they are one of the most energetic crowds in the league. You can also point towards to small micro cosmos of the RealGM sub-forum, where you also have a symbolic example of people who have remained active despite Miami being in a limbo since the Lebron departure.

All this to say that the crowd issues in the NBA are far worse in a many other teams. And in fact, I always trace a parallel between the Heat and the Dolphins. The Dolphins have a dreadful home crowd. Of course, this is all subjective, but these random thoughts have always been on my mind. Among all the Florida teams I know of (NBA/NFL), the Miami Heat probably have the most passionate base, all the others are clearly more affected by transplants/tourists and/or lack of local support based on my eye test.
