I want to like Langford game but he looks a bit slow and not that athletic, he looks and moves like OG Anunoby, he plays under the rim...

We already know how this goes. We'll take the most garbage player on offense and he won't amount to anything special even five years later.

Did garland shoot up the mocks this week? Seems like he was in our range before but now he's going as high as 4

I think him being listed at 13 was a bit of a pipe dream. He always seemed destined to be in the Top 10, and given where teams fell in the lottery, Lakers/Suns/Bulls will all look hard at him now.

Garland was probably never making it to 13, so yeah it was a pipe dream. But before the lotto there was a chance that one of Suns/Bulls was going to get Ja, or Zion/RJ, so that would have meant one less PG hungry team between us and he Garland/White. Having Suns and Bulls outside it’s quite possible that both are off the board 6 & 7 (it’s how I currently have them).

I currently have:
Zion, Ja, RJ, Culver (assuming no trade), Hunter, Garland, White.
8 is where it gets tricky, as the Hawks should go a wing and a C, but Wizards could use either as well, so they should just take who they see as BPA. I think it should go Reddish, Hayes, Bol, but Wiz could take Doumbouya and Bol could slip to Hornets. Hawks could see Langford, Little or even NAW or Porter as a better wing option and take Hayes at 8. Wolves should take one of the PFs (Doumbouya, Clarke, PJ, Rui - in that order).
That leaves Hornets and us essentially taking BPA of what’s left on the board. It could be almost any of the players mentioned from 8 onwards ... ugh

Tyler Herro or bust. one of the best shots and forms in college. projects to be an elite shooter. Devin Booker aka shot Mike Miller.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Most of my favorite options shot up the mock draft boards. So if Colby doesn't fall to us, I just want the best shooter who has a chance to develop handles. I need to check out the prospects from overseas.

We already have a draft thread open. Will keep this locked until June 14th.

I’m excited for this draft, but with Dragic opting in this early I’m also prepared for this to be traded with him for CP (or any other move I would hate in isolation).

Return to Miami Heat
