Damn look how much space and how fast KZ covers when he attack the basket. i feel he is goin to be really good when he bulk up a bit. I really love this pick up.

Herro is goin to be a great shooter which is rare to find those days. Goin to be a fun season.

Hey buddy. Saw that you finished first amongst Heat fans (beat me by one point...) in the mock draft competition. Congrats For being smarter than the rest of us!

He’s got some Giannis like long strides. Hopefully he shows to be as talented.

This pick feels like a steal, or if not a steal, great value at #32. I'm glad the FO were proactive enough to go after an early 2nd to get the player they wanted. Still surprised we even had future 2nds to trade tbh - thought that cupboard was bare.

Okpala has been a late lotto-mid FRP all season, so I'm surprised he dropped to the 2nd round. Looking forward to Fodor working on his shot, and him getting into Heat shape. He has some nice tools to work with, if he can fill that frame out a bit.

Crazy KZ actually measured in at 6’8.5” with shoes. We can round that up to 6’9”. Really wouldn’t surprise me if he reaches the 6’10 - 6’11” mark.

I thought he was measured 6’9.5” in shoes:

Even better. Round up to 6’10” he can really get to that Giannis Size. Hopefully he starts hitting the weights ASAP.

One thing with the late growth spurt is that the added height is followed by filling out the frame. Filling out the frame often comes with some additional coordination and burst. KZ is not meant to be a twig physically. He grew to about 6'6/6'7 in HS and continued to grow a little more over his 2 years at Stanford. While I wouldn't say he's likely to add on anymore length, he should be able to grow into his frame pretty naturally. Add a little more burst and strength to his already solid perimeter/slashing game and we could have something special.

KZ is either 6-7 without shoes or 6-9 with shoes but he can't be both. I'm leaning towards the former.

Why can't he be both? Baskeball shoes add 1-3 inches. The differnce between "6-7 without shoes" and "6-9 with shoes" is 2 inches.
