If Butler was a few years younger i would really love this trade. He's still a winning player so good trade anyway.

I've got Giannis, Kawhi and Embiid definitely ahead of him, and until I see KD is definitely damaged goods I'm putting him ahead as well. (all in the top 20 PER of the league)

Then there's the group of Kyrie (top 20), Kemba, Beal, Simmons, Butler that I feel are all about fit, match-up and season as to who gets ranked higher.

So, I've got him in the 5-9 range at this point.

If we go by stats, Whiteside and Drummond are the only Eastern teams in the top 20 - so obviously a faulty stat for this exercise!

He's ours, so he's No.1.

To start the season, assuming Kawhi leaves and Durant is out:

They are pretty close now as players. Beal is 4 years younger though so I can see why people would rather have him over Butler.

Philly probably makes a Finals run with Butler leading the charge if not for Kawhi's miracle. Have low expectations for next year assuming there are no more major moves, but pair another superstar with Butler in 2021 & a Playoff run past the 2nd round seems likely

We'll need another thread like this for Westbrook as soon as we land him. That poll should be all over the place because he's such a polarizing player.

Only players better unquestionably are Giannis and Embiid. In a playoff series, I’ll take Jimmy over the rest of the field with ease. Same goes for Westbrook to.
