Spo said Meyers Leonard is one of the most vocal players on the team and has been a great addition to anchor the C position. Not sure what Portland was thinking by trading him. Adding Whiteside was subtraction by addition.

People in Philly are already criticizing the Horford deal. Didn’t make much sense to me either. Would have been better off signing a bunch of role players. Didn’t need another star. Needed to trust Embiid and Simmons to get it done with solid players around them.

They essentially signed 3 centers to max deals, it's delicious

But they're talented, they'll make some noise

Don't know how you can't snag wifi in Saint Pete, but what do you think might happen to ya' boy Ben, whom it looks will inevitably be traded? Conventional wisdom says he could net good value on the market for being young/skilled, but who's actually out there looking for a PG making max money that won't shoot?

Sounds like something Pellies or Detroit(if they could) would do tho

Short-handed Warriors will be even more short-handed. This means he'll likely miss their game in Miami on the 29th.

Paul George has 25 points in 13 first half minutes. Double shoulder surgery, yet is shooting lights out in his 1st 2 games in months. That team with PG, Kawhi and Lou Will on offense, and what they can do on D, is scary.

edit: Make that 34 points in 18 minutes for PG.

Prolly, although Ben/Draymond would be a tough sell if Dray keeps shooting like chit-- but much more suitable for Simmons to play in the dunker spot in their scheme

Ben's a smart player man, don't get how he doesn't understand that he'll have to start shooting sometime

Pretty small sample size, but Clarke with 61/42/92 throughout 11 games is brazy for someone with his metrics/limitations; they need to stop playin' with them rooks and take off their minute restrictions

Feels like the last few rookie classes have gotten more and more young guys that are prepared to contribute day 1

Clarke knows how to play ball. He's proven it.

Many realgm mock draft experts pointed to his age and his wingspan as proverbial nails in the coffin. No way he could continue to play ball with those T-Rex arms and already being a year from retirement in his rookie season. No way.
