OKC has signed Justin Patton, what's interesting about this is after getting under the tax by cutting Patteson at the beginning of August, Patton's signing has put them back into the tax. Patton has broken each foot since being drafted by Minnesota and his contract is structured to keep him in OKC for 3 years but if he continues to have health issues or is just too far behind in his development OKC can get out of the contract earlier. Why go back into the tax for someone on such a small contract(which basically makes his signing much more expensive the 1st year) unless you're already expecting (possibly have a trade framework somewhat worked out) to shed more salary. Still don't see OKC opening up the season with 3 PGs and disgruntling one of the PGs they're going to end up keeping this year and next(Schroder).

This man is catching every snake bite. An achilles and now an acl? The rest of his career is going to veteran minimum deals ... if he can even play.

What a terrible break for him. From on the verge of a super max, to one leg out the door and the league (pun intended?)

Feel bad for him, but also feel relieved for all the teams who aren’t stuck paying him a Super Mac with all these injuries.

Pushed himself too hard to come back and then the injuries just compound themself. Stronger parts functioning for the weaker parts in an ultra high stress physical environment.

Thinking of changing my name to DrHeatFanLifer now btw. No underscore of course.

How are the gsw not being sued or fined or under investigation. So many of their players have serious injury or reoccurring injury late last year. Seemed like serious health missmanagement of the whole team. Way too much confidence. Lakers need another piece now, trade jj for pics and cash
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

I wonder if TNT hired Stan to pressure Shaq to step down given how much Shaq and SVG hate each-other.

Given how Stan left because of Shaq, it would be interesting to say the least if the reverse happened now.

Hopefully it does because Shaq is awful on TNT...great player, but terrible analyst.

Doubtful, Shaq is still a big draw
