I'd trade Kelly. Leonard's contract is expiring.

You can waive Yante if Boggie wants to come

I still think someone needs to get traded. Maybe a deal where we trade for another player and it brings back less money to open things up for the roster. No money for UD right now.

I was happy for the Butler trade and I wanted the trade, but now as I look at the team this blows.

We dont have the MLE to sign anyone
Okpala our last signing barring a trade
We dont have another star.
The elite stars are in good winning situations with another star.
Other good stars we don't have enough assets that we can afford to give up.
Cousins on the market for cheap and we can't afford him.
Butler doesn't put us over the top 2 teams in the east or top 5 west.
The FA class next years sucks.

Waiters will take the ball out of Winslow hands more so than Dragic.

Makes more sense to have Winslow come off the bench. Butler will have the ball in his hands. This way Winslow gets a real chance to run the second unit and be in out closing line up at PF. Dragic is more aggressive and him playing well can lead to another trade. In one season with Dragic off the book, if Winslow is still here, he can be our PG.

Only Heat fans would complain after moving Josh Richardson and an expiring deal for Jimmy f*cking Butler. Just a spoiled bunch. As far as the East goes no team has more than one healthy star player coming into the season, we've got young ascending talent, and we can always revisit the trade market. Jesus christ.

Had we traded Dragic and a first round pick like Cuban demanded, we would have the PG slot open for Winslow, now ideally he comes off the bench. Also we would have the cap space to use the MLE. Cuban got the last laugh here. :banghead:

Can't wait for the Jimmy Butler press conference. Wanna hear Riley get asked about what happened with Dallas.

Dion came in after the advent of PG Winslow, to which point he carried a lower USG% than Dragic, but write those narratives with ya' left hand if ya' want

Winslow beating Dragic out for the PG spot could actually happen. So I'm not worried about it. Dragic really didn't do anything clearly better than Winslow at the PG position. Winslow is 23 and would likely improve at the position. Dragic is on the decline. I'm banking on Winslow to be the starter at some point.

There’s no way we’re not making another move here. No chance, Riley values bigs and right now we have a horrible rebounding team. Someone will move via trade and we will get another big surely.

Assuming that we make no other big moves, what do you think our SL would be?

What I hope:

PG-Winslow
SG-Waiters
SF-Butler
PF-Olynyk
C-Bam

What I think Spo does:

PG-Dragic
SG-Butler (or Waiters)
SF-Winslow (or Butler)
PF-Olynyk
C-Bam

Hope Okpala can work his way into the rotation but I doubt it, don't know how much we can get away with or how far we could get using 6'6 SF's and unconventional bigs
