Why are we acting like 31yr old Butler is somehow gonna fall off the cliff? Jimmy is a star man, he's gonna be fine.

Fax are stil fax, Russ is still overrated and Rok's traded Old, expensive and could shoot, for relatively young, expensive and can't shoot

Hopefully playing in a system and with a top 5 player affects him greatly

Yes, I would take Chris Paul back if it meant getting multiple picks in return. Miami would then have enough assets to formulate a trade for Beal.

Heat fans didn't want to trade our young guys, but as soon we miss out on Westbrook they are trash and we're going to be a mediocre 9th seed again. Riley is washed again. Sigh... :noway:

I trust Riley , so hopefully we don’t regret this but DAMM a Westbrook on this Miami team would of been sweet

Yea not listening to any sources. Just yesterday sources had Westbrook in Miami. Now sources all of a sudden know the exact offer OKC wanted from the Heat. Not buying it. No one knows ****.

No cp3 here

If that was going to happen, it would have been a 3 team deal.

Scared of his body more than anything, but we'll see how valid those concerns are

Maybe we'll play facilitator to get CP3 to the Lakers or wherever tf and get some picks and fill out the roster. I don't want him here though.

Deserved the MVP that year though, imo. Russ was something else that year, an outlier year for him in terms of his outside shot and clutch performances. Advanced metrics all favored him over Harden too.

We got the Houston boys, Justise and Jimmy, ready to phuck chit up this season. Have faith guys, we're gonna be a better team this year. We have a star, and we're finally giving the keys to the kingdom to Winslow and Bam, our 2 young guys with the highest ceilings.

Gonna be fun to see how they can elevate their games this year, particularly alongside a star like Butler - who'se gonna have a big year. I'm pumped.

I agree 100%. We're on the clock and facing 2 potential wasted years. Brilliant. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

What you guys don't get is that a depleted team with just Butler and Westbrook wins nothing PLUS Westbrook takes you out of 2021 free agency.

A team with Westbrook has a chance because he is on the the team.

This team as constructed wins nothing. Leaving 2021 FA without a legit free agent still gets you no where. 2021 isn't a sure thing. People resign with teams, get injured, or straight up signs somewhere else.

Exactly. Riley has never overpaid on a trade, and he wasn't gonna start now. Just look at what Houston gave up compared to what Presti wanted. F that.

There is nothing I am looking forward to in 2021 Free Agency. WB makes this team an instant "stay tuned to find out what is next" ride. Would have been fun. Happy we got Butler but its like meeting 2 hot chicks in a bar who want to come home with you for a threesome and when its time to go, one of them decides to go home. Yeah you are going to have fun anyways, but damn...we could have had something we would have remembered forever.

damn, we have multiple threads, hundreds of pages on this thing. I went over to the Houston board to see what they're saying and they're like

"so we got Westbrook for cp3...meh"
