So yeah, looks like the Thunder wanted to do right by Westbrook.

I wonder if that's true or if that's after the fact spin on both Westbrook and OKC's part.

Either way, its a worse offer for OKC, idc. they kept their rebuild delayed by 3 years when they could have started it early with the cap relief we were offering.

In other news: we didn’t have the picks to get it done, so that Mavs back-out screwed us yet again.

Brodie has said nothing publicly this whole time, so of course he’s going to say Houston was his preferred destination all along now. He probably had a very short list: us, Houston and maybe one other, then kept quiet.
