poor bam but this should be a wake up call for him to work on his weaknesses.otherwise,he could find himself to be a benchwarmer throughtout his career

I feel like we're the worst fan base on the forum when it comes to being confident about our players. Adebayo a benchwarmer after last season, really?
no,he has to work on his weaknesses because he might be not a benchwarmer while on the heat but if he's traded to another team he will surely be a 2nd or 3rd string center somewhere.

though,he has developed a tad better than winslow at this stage but he is not yet an elite player on the nba level. he needs to work more on his shots and rebounds and blocks a little bit more

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/adebaba01.html

i do really like him but he has his work cut out for him since its a failure that he didnt made the national team to represent the usa...he should use this as a motivation to improve further

Only on the heat board is a last minute call in not making the team a failure. Worst fans in the association

I told you guys Bam didn’t belong in that group. He hasn’t shown anything at all yet to get on USA team. Has a LOT to improve, I only hope him being cut off the team lights a fire under him.

I really wonder why you don't live on the Knicks board.

Sad this man is 30 years old and still letting weed affect his professional life. That is equivalent to letting spades or tunk stop me from working in my career.

Beas surely isn't the only one that's cheifin', they should get off his back

Suspending him 5 games while he's not signed is a low blow
That's irrelevant, Vin Baker wasn't the only one drinking Alcohol. Look it's not about the legality of weed. I have always been a proponent of legalizing weed. Hell I think people should not be locked up for getting high on anything. This is about Beasley having an addiction not someone who smokes once in a while. This about Beasley as a 30 yr old man as a professional. A company can make requirements of their employees that has nothing to do with legality. Beasley has become depended on a substance and letting it control his life, personal and professional. It was blatantly obvious at times it was effecting his game play.

Not sure we have enough info to say he's dependent on anything. There's a difference between a casual smoker and a junkie, and we don't have the insight to call him either

tbf to him

He's been in rehab multiple times. He has let it be big enough part of his life that it's affected his career.

You're right(stand corrected,) didn't know he had a rehab stint in Hou

At least this blunder wasn't big enough to keep him without contract, do wonder about the details of that though
