Maybe, or they're laying some of the groundwork for a multiple team trade if Miami is still interested in CP3 (or even another high priced player) it could let Miami or/and another team get a little bit more flexibility in their trade. Miami just seems to have too much lower rotation talent to not upgrade the starters/core.

We've already seen Riley quickly being able to quickly create 3+ team trades for Butler when Dallas backed out he was able to change that multiteam trade quickly and actually quite dramatically.

You knew this was coming with how he was handled in the preseason. Saw Herro and KNunn pass him up, and he can’t take it. Won’t be surprised to see a trade happen very soon. Dude is a cancer.

Just one game. No surprise if you remember him responding negatively on instagram when a fan said he'd be 6th man of the year. Then ends up playing only 10 minutes in the 2 final preseason games that were looked at as mini warmup games for the season.
