On defense they are the luckiest team in the league. Opponents are shooting 28% from corners and 27.3% overall from 3point line. Miami's also allowing the largest amount of 3s, almost 40% of opponents shots are coming from 3.

Would be so down for Myles Turner

I don’t think we have the assets to obtain him though

Myles/Bam/Winslow/Butler would be a nosebleed on defense, if that tandem was possible.

Yup, we are screwed. Pat would have to turn into a Magician to dump that headache on someone else's plate. Stretching him is not an option. The current contracts of Waiters and JJ are really inturrupting present and near future possibilities for this team.

With doctor/patient confidentiality, could be another Flakka Green situation where we never hear anything outside of the curtains.

But I think the league will waltz in at any moment, especially if this tumbleweeds into a public health scare

imposibru, unless Pat ready to sacrifice Herro, which is not likely.

Well if back on Monday you were to tell me we'd go 1-2 on the road vs DEN/PHO/LAL in 4 days I probably would've taken it. I think it's a good sign that we were hanging in there with probably the best team in the NBA right now until gassing out in the 4th

Good news is we should very realistically be able to win the next 5:

11/12 Pistons
11/14 @ Cavs
11/16 Pelicans
11/20 Cavs
11/22 @ Bulls

Then a big EC showdown @ Philly on the 23rd (of course we're again on the 2nd of a b2b vs an elite team)

Simple day suspension would have suffice, heck maybe a petty fine. They went way beyond what was needed to make example of Dion/JJ, but this isn't their fault. Stuff just happens sometimes. What happens next happens, I don't think it's a big deal... Heat will get over and Dion will pay whatever consequences their are at play(which might end up being costly/awful for him tbf, if it hasn't already)

Can't remember what happened with Gerald Green? I think he was fined and back on the court within like 72hrs of the incident

Dan Le Batard said last year that Pat Riley has never hated a player in his entire career more than he hates Dion Waiters. Keep that in mind when he’s suspended again.

THC is the active ingredient in cannabis. The only difference is it's more full body in edible form. I have never heard in my life of anyone having a seizure from edibles. Not unless that chit was spiked with something else like spice. I doubt his chit was spiked with that stuff. I Just think Waiters was comatosed from the full body high and couldn't be bothered with waking up when the flight landed.

Flakka is a whole different story. That chit makes you into a real brain eating zombie.

It might've been spiked with some kind of benzo. As with alcohol, benzo withdrawal can cause seizures

Unlikely. He probably bought it in Denver and edibles are easy to get and pretty regulated for that kind of stuff iirc. No need to buy street ****. That would be really stupid of a man with his money.
