I read somewhere that Waiters traveled with the team. Was he on the bench? Wonder when we’ll see him on the court.

I really hope this game shows Bam how much we need him offensively. He can not just be resistant to scoring when teams gives it to him. I seen one jumper early he pulled up with confidence and made it. But he act like he doesn't have to shoot anymore. If he doesn't take of advantage of open looks then the ball will have to be taken out of his hands. He gotta be ok with the team losing by his jumper not by avoidance

Agreed. They didn't even have Kyrie or KD. Even if KD is a shell of his former self, Kyrie alone will get them the win.

And this is a team we could potentially face in the first round of the playoffs.

If we're gonna be legitimate contenders, Adebayo really needs to step up his game, in terms of offense and interior defense. On the bright side, he's only 22yrs old.

Winslow has to start making open shots. At least he takes them, unlike Bam. But he has to make em.

Nets been good without KD and Kyrie for a year and a half.

Spo and Meyers both brought up how when he starts games, he's being guarded by 4's. So his shots arent always available because of quicker players closing on him. But in the 3rd, he was the lone big in and was able to get his shot off because he was being guarded by 5's who don't close out as quick.

Good points. Meyers has the slowest release ever. So that plays apart in why he's struggled to get his shot off of late. but it also bring us to another point. Its time to switch KO and Meyers. KO can do more off the dribble when 4's close out on him, while Meyers can play the 5 off the bench.

Glad we got our first road win of the year, even though KI and KD were on load management.

Nets were playing very well. We’re 6-5 on the road thus far. Unless you’re trying a thing, then forgive me lol.

Tony15 wrote:Lol at the downplaying. Without Kyrie, the Nets are a better “TEAM”. The idea of Irving being a winning player is a ship that sailed after his Boston stint imo.

We didn’t play great on either end consistently, but we found a way. This is a very quality win against a team that’s been playing very well.

We do need to play better though, as TOR & BOS are huge steps up in weight class.

I don’t disagree with you entirely regarding the big picture about Miami, but regarding BKN, KD isn’t an obstacle this year so that doesn’t matter this time around. Also Kyrie isn’t a winning player, so I cease caring about his absence.

I honestly would’ve been super annoyed had he played and we ended up losing, because the Nets with Kyrie so far this year weren’t any kind of good, especially defensively.
