Kinda weird how Miami takes off whenever Better misses an extended period of time.

They were doing well when he was playing earlier in the year too. I don't know why some of you choose this narrative, Jimmy & Bam are the only two players on this team that we'd struggle without for an extended period of time.

The prospect of Winnie taking Jimmy's place when he hits the bench was exciting, as we all saw in the preseason. He was looking like Jimmy-lite; great defense, good playmaking, struggled finishing though. I wonder if the back injury is why his shot is off. But Winnie needs to heal. I'd leave him alone until he says he's ready and just use Dion for the scoring and playmaking and JJ for a little playmaking and defense in the meantime. Jimmy can't keep racking up minutes like it's the playoffs.
Spo has got to use those two more until Window is healthy and in shape.

Re: The Curious Case of Justise Winslow
He can't shoot and is made of glass. While he does have a unique skillset and brings other things to the table, those two are just dealbreakers.
Having a guy on the floor like Winslow, who isn't a shooting threat, bogs down the rest of hte offense and forces coaching to get creative to cover for the lack of spacing. Having so many one-way players in the rotation (Herro, Robinson, Winslow, etc.) makes creating productive lineups so much harder.
I'd love to see Winslow traded for something/anything before his value craters even more. I think a guy like Ibaka would make a large impact on this team.

I've never wanted to punch someone in the face so badly. Really hoping to run into him at a game one day. I won't hesitate.

He’s in the dog house. Same boat as Dion. Stealth suspensions. Everything else is PR. That’s my opinion anyway.

I think he has def complained about his Role/minutes/ not being a starter. But in this case, I feel like his back is just not right. He is definitely injured imo. The heat do themselves no favors tanking his value with “back injuries” and needing to see specialist. Those words mean no trade or a terrible trade for us.

He's not in the dog house. He's hurt. Like always. He's always, always, ALWAYS hurt. He's not Greg Oden frail, but he is frail...

Re: The Curious Case of Justise Winslow
Winslow production is fringe Nba dleague status. Still living off tge high prospect duke pedigree and high draft projections. He has never lived up to the hype on any level but he gets a pass for his manchild body. The talent and production that teams are finding these days from dleague and undrafted players make it tough to remain patient for Winslow to blossom. He isn't that player we expect him to be. In his defense that must be a heavy burden to live up to the godly expectations ppl have of him. Man is under a lot of pressure.

Winslow just didn't develop enough for us to be patient w/ his many injuries. But he did develop just enough to be a trade chip

Trade chip for what though? Not sure what the Heat gained by trading him.

We gained battle tested veterans that can contribute right away. That will hopefully make a meaningful run in the playoffs. While we aren’t the favorites to win it all, things are wide open enough to give us a puncher’s chance.
All while getting rid of Dion and JJ yet still keeping our free agency flexibility.
The alternative was to be stuck with two guys we don’t want and one that is always hurt. None of which play.
