Tbh I’m surprised Spo has gone away from the Kelly/Bam duo. Always thought they worked well together when they got a run.

Feel like Kelly has played mostly in undersized lineups with DJJ and with Goran/Herro matador defense. Hasn’t done him any favors.

Yeah, thought he would be in the meyers role at least. But I guess it’s turned into a dont fix what isnt broken type situation since kelly seems like the better player in a vacuum

I was thinking the same exact thing. I think a lot of KO's struggles extend from Spo limiting him to these terrible rotations and solely keeping him camped out behind the three point line on offense. KO has an array of crafty post moves that I have yet to see this year because he's always chucking from deep. KO and Bam and even KO and JJ have proven in the past to be a solid front court rotation. Spo has to make some adjustments here as his small ball approach at the PF spot since DJJ has been back is burying this team on the defensive end. DJJ is a small forward not a PF. Many can make the case that at 6'6 200 he's a two guard playing PF. If his skill set lends to being more of a PF then he needs to be placed in lineups with players who can shoot in the front court. It's the same issue with Winslow when he comes back that Spo feels the need to play these players at PF much to the detriment of the players and team.

Spurs have beaten the Raptors, Celtics and Bucks in the last 4 games. In those wins they scored 126 on the Bucks, 129 on the Celtics, and 105 in Toronto.
