Impressive that Miami got rid of Johnson's and Waiter's contracts for shorter contracts. They got shorter contracts for similar production value, although maybe the Neon lights will finally shine in Memphis.

We got fooled by the epic 2 months streakin a la NYK Jeremy Lin.
But in all honesty, the ankle injury derailed what could've been solid prime years of a talented player. Good luck buddy

Dion didn't fool me during those two months, I was even out of RealGM for a year because we signed Waiters and JJ.

If he gets bought out...then what? Will he have suitors? Is he worth the headache?
Wasn’t Headache one of his nicknames lol

We really only have ouselfs to blame with Dion.
He was never a winning player before coming here, he was never efficient, he was always a head case.
You simply can't commit long term to a guy like that based on a few months of decent play. How we didn't insist on team options on the last 2 years I'll never understand. How we gave him the long term deal AFTER hearing he needs serious surgery - another mystery. We're not Minnesota - desperate for free agents to take our money.
You can take a gamble on a headcase player IF he's proven winner on the court, Or you could take a gamble on a unproven player - if he's got strong character.
Dion was neither, and we paid the price.

Farewell Dion.
I would imagine a team desperate for bench help will pick him up. He can still play, but the question is who takes the shot at it?
My guess is Philly. He'd be a pretty solid get for them.
