From memory, he had his team option declined by the Pacers. He then proceeded to have a good playoff series for them. NO got honeydicked and the rest is history.
He’s our new poor mans JJ.

Yeah I vaguely remember that. I thought it was the contract year, but no (he never had a good szn lol), it was a freaking playoff series. That's a way too small sample size to commit 4 years to a mostly bonafide scrub.
It was also a desperate/panic move to appease AD. Overpaying for a random scrub is NOT the way to keep your star player happy. smh

If you think those stats are bad look at James Johnson and Dion Waiters stats this season and then look at their salary

Welcome to Miami, Solomon Hill. From what I hear he's actually been pretty solid for Memphis this season. Just hoping for grit and hard work in Miami...

Highlight reel was surprisingly good. Guy looks like he's never been in near Heat shape. Wonder if he has time to get there in the next 20 games or so to be useful
