If the Suns beat the Embiid-less Sixers tomorrow, then we'd have the 4th or 5th seed locked in. So will be interesting to see how we handle this one if we do have the seed locked up.

Will also be interested to see how the Thunder approach this one. With a win they lock in a 1st round matchup with the Rockets. A loss and they'd be tied record wise with the Jazz with 1 game to go. The Jazz have been knocked out of the playoffs two years in a row by the Rockets, so they'll also likely want to avoid the Rockets in round 1 as well.

if we're locked in it's pretty simple play everyone 20-25 mins unless nursing injury/injuries.

most teams are treating these games like preszn games (as they should be) and the overall approach is very different from the "normal" end of the regular szn in which most starters would be getting more significant rest.

I like the limited mins in the regular season, but consistency is going to be the key with this team in the post season. I don’t see consistency possible in a limited minute 10 man rotation. Butler and Bam will do what they do and DRob is showing great consistency. Crowder, KO, Goran, and Herro are playing well too. The others are hit and miss.

Likely will see those 7 with Spo testing the waters each game for an 8th or limited mins 9th man. Those spots are DJJ/Iggie’s to lose. Leonard and Nunn are likely staying in the dog house. Hill is just happy to be collecting a paycheck.

You might be right about Spo playing the main guys heavily to get them ready for the playoffs. However:

Playoffs Start Aug. 17

The 2020 NBA Playoffs start on Aug. 17. If there is a Play-In scenario, those games will be played on Aug. 15-16.

We play Indy 14th (Friday) and potentially play the first game on 17th (Mon).. that's not a lot of rest. Not that our guys will be tired.. but it's probably not smart to play our important guys in meaningless game(s) if that's actually the case. Play em in 1st half only, or 1Q and 3Q only, something like that. Any consistency you get out of these seeding games will be virtually meaningless in playoff games. Come on Lifer you've been around long enough to know that playoffs are different animals altogether. SMDH

My initial point is exactly the point you are making. I was adding to your point. I said I like limited mins in the regular season. I don’t like the 10/11 man rotation in the playoffs.

Also, we need to finish outsipde the top ten to keep our 2020 FRP. I'm hoping for a heat win tomorrow.

Suns beat the Sixers. Heat will be 4th or 5th seed.

Sixers and Pacers could still swap.

Heat Pacers in the first round set now. Seeds undetermined but really shouldn’t matter.
