Food for thought.

There have been rumblings that we might trade for Oladipo in the off-season. There's even been speculation that the Miami Heat can snatch away Donovan Mitchell from the Jazz (although that's looking highly unlikely now).

How do you all feel about CJ McCollum? We're talking about a 22 point per game scorer who shoots 40% from 3 for his career. Only 28 years old and under contract until 2023, making about 30m over the next 4 years.

Personally, I like him more than Oladipo and I believe he's a better fit. Not sure who we can trade to get him, but I wouldn't touch Bam, Butler or Herro.

Probably a super long shot, but can you imagine a line-up of:

Herro
CJ
Butler
Robinson
Bam

Well, if there's anyone who can pull something like this off, it's Riley. I mean, pound for pound, when you consider the skill to dollar ratio, I believe it's a better value than targeting Bradley Beal.

praying that we dont touch oladipo. night after night of empty stats , hi volume shooting etc. very unimpressed with what I've seen from him. i also can't stand how he ends up on the floor after every play.
mccollum is interesting , gives us a legit go to scorer, which we lack . my opinion we need a true number one guy and or a rebounding shot blocking big to put next to Bam.

I'd prefer Oladipo for a prove-it year before he becomes a free agent. The defensive playmaking with Oladipo, Butler, and Bam would be devastating and Oladipo's ability to breakdown the defense and get into the paint (plus still hit 3s) would be more needed to keep our offense buzzing.

Get Oladipo in an actual strong offensive system with a defined role (and another year removed from his injury) and he will look a lot better IMO

McCollum is too undersized, run into the same issue Portland has. I mean Herro should be able to give you 20ppg next year. If we're not getting a top level threat, I'm not for tying up space

So it takes a self imposed ban of realgm to Heat sweep. Guess I will not be back on realgm until the offseason.
